Pictou Campus is located in the town of Stellarton and serves the northern and eastern parts of mainland Nova Scotia. Within the county of Pictou there are five towns - New Glasgow, Pictou, Stellarton, Trenton and Westville. The total population of the region hovers around 50,000. Pictou County offers a full range of services including academic, medical, shopping, recreational, spiritual, and cultural facilities.
The Pictou Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College has graduated thousands of students since its inception in 1965. These graduates have gone on to take their place as leaders in the business and industrial community. The campus provides pre-employment training to the second largest manufacturing economy in Nova Scotia. Pictou Campus specializes in Business, Technology, and Trades training. One satellite site, located in the Aberdeen Professional Center in New Glasgow, is home to the Human Services, Community Services, Continuing Care, and Community Residential Worker programs. A second satellite location is the Fisheries School which houses customized training for fisheries and marine safety.
Our programs have a strong record of employment throughout Nova Scotia and beyond as graduates gain the specialized knowledge, skills and attitudes to compete in the global economy. Classes are conducted in a pleasant atmosphere where emphasis is placed on educational attainment of skills and personal growth.
Pictou Campus boasts an active Student Association that organizes many social and community events for students throughout the academic year. The campus has an effective peer tutoring program aimed at assisting students with their academic endeavors throughout the year. The Campus has also piloted the Mentor Advantage Program for NSCC, where students have an opportunity to be matched with business and industry leaders in the community. The Campus athletic association organizes intra-varsity soccer, hockey, softball and basketball.

a training partner for the Airfield Engineering Flight of Pictou County. Students can join the Air Reserves.
Pictou Campus Hospitality students have been selected repeatedly to work at Disney World. Some have been asked to consider Disney in Europe as a placement.
Town of Stellarton has many housing options within walking distance of Pictou Campus that accommodate NSCC students.
