The Community Access Program (CAP) is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by Industry Canada, that aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively. Bridgewater has five CAP sites which are located in the Bridgewater JR/SR High School, Tourist Bureau, Public Library, Nova Scotia Community College, and a satellite site for people with disabilities in the Assistive Technology Centre.

The Bridgewater JR/SR High School CAP site is the largest and houses a computer lab of 25 computers that are available to the public. Adult classes are offered through the evenings. Should users require assistance, there is a supervisor in the CAP site in the evenings and technicians are available. Computer courses can also be arranged. Please contact the Bridgewater CAP site for Open Hours and further information by phone at 902-541-8260.
