The Foundation hosts four special events each year. “Hit it for Health”, presented by Osprey Ridge Golf Club; “Cure for a Cause”, hosted by the Lunenburg Curling Club; an annual Gingerbread House Auction & Tea in Mahone Bay; and a fall Gala “Jeans & Gems”, all raise significant funds for hospital services and equipment.

Well Women's Clinics - These are held at SSRH twice a year.

Volunteer Service - This enhances the quality of patient care by providing non-professional support and complimentary care. It also augments existing services through the use of community volunteers in 27 established programs at SSRH.

SSRH Auxiliary - The Auxiliary's nearly 100 members raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually through the Hospital Gift Shop and a used clothing shop, The Daisy.
